AIBU?

To think 6 year olds should not be wearing this

Merchandise from a major dance show at the excel centre in London next month. They sell these, and tshirts from age 6 up.

I’m going to have to explain to a 10 year old why she can’t have a jumper...

What's wrong with it?

Am I missing some thing?

I don't get it? Dancers dance with attitude? Confused

Are you for real?

Can’t see the problem here at all. Confused

It seems fine.

What's the problem?

Maybe I’m reading something into it that others wouldn’t?

And? Why can't you explain to her that she can't have it?

DragonsAndCakes · 01/02/2018 18:02

It doesn’t need to be ‘it’!

I think it’s a play on words too OP. Attitude being a ballet term

welliments · 01/02/2018 18:02

I can explain to her, I don’t want to have to!

What are you reading in to it?

Report
welliments · 01/02/2018 18:03

But surely it’s a double entendre?

I don't understand it either. Does it mean something else?

Dancers dance with attitude Confused I’m normally very overprotective and cats bum with stuff for my 5 year old but I don’t understand the problem with a dancing jumper?

Well I for one am appalled.

You think the ‘do it’ part refers to sex? And that ‘dancers do it with attitude’=dancers have sex (with attitude?)

TheQueenOfWands · 01/02/2018 18:04

If attitude is a ballet term then it's obviously a joke.

Funny. I like it.

Can you explain it to me at least? Confused

Mono, I think it’s a double entendre, it has 2 meanings...

Oh.... you’re one of those hilarious people that turn everything to be about sex? Hmm

Report
zippey · 01/02/2018 18:05

I don’t think it means dancers have sex with an attitude. I can’t see many people associating it with sex if this is what you think.

It’s about dancing.

Quite “cool” jumper I think apart Ron the horrible pinkyness.
