Poo in my skip

Firstly I’ve got a bit of a dog poo phobia so may overreacted a little. For background, earlier this week I noticed a little black dog poo bag in the bottom of my wheelie bin which i’d left on my drive near the pavement. I know it’s silly but I was paranoid about poosplosion if any heavy item was chucked in there on top so fished out offending Poobag and walked the 5 mins to the nearest public dog poo bin to dispose of it properly. Resolved to put wheelie bin at back of house so no more dog walkers can use it. Come home today and, in an empty skip on our driveway for some building work we’re having done this week, another poobag has appeared. Aibu to find this cheeky/weird? I know skips are to an extent fair game but putting poo in it! Angry

At least it’s in a bag and not a fresh naked turd outside your house. I’d rather anyone use my bin than leave it there on my doorstep!

Ugh that dog walker is a CF!! Can’t be bothered to carry it home so chucking it wherever they can. Gross.

I've had that in my wheelie bin. Disgusting.

If it's in a plastic bag it's really not going to do any harm Confused

I have 5 dogs and wouldn't dream of putting a poo bag in somone else's bin, that's just not on.

Who wants to carry a bag of poo for miles? I would put a dog poo bag in someone's bin. It's a bin, they aren't sticking it through the letterbox

Yes, but would you put it in a skip? Seems a bit odd? And nearest poo bin is 5 mins walk away...I’m starting to get paranoid that poobag dropper #1 and poobag dropper #2 are same person and wondering if they’re trolling me....

I have two dogs. I would consider it very cheeky to put their poo in anyone else's bin. I use my own bin, or a public litter bin, or a designated dog poo bin, whichever is appropriate at the time. Always bagged and with the handles tied.

I think you might have some cheeky fucker living nearby, though I guess at least they are actually picking it up and not just leaving it. If I actually saw someone doing this i might be tempted to have a word with them.

Whatshallidonowpeople You don’t want to carry a bag of shite until you find a council bin, but you think it’s ok to put it in someone’s private bin? That’s fucking disgusting and selfish behaviour.

To be fair I have just moved from an area where someone was regularly smearing shit (I assume dog but who knows really) on the top of the local (very over-used) public bin. It was so very very rank. I should probably count my blessings I think to have got to a place where people are ever so slightly more civilised

Yanbu. I've had skips outside my home that have had dog poo bags thrown in them by ndn I'm assuming. It annoyed me as some bags had fallen out when the skip was taken so I had to get rid of them. I hate people putting stuff in my wheelie bin as well.

Yanbu! Why the fuck can't people deal with the shit they own? It could cause a poo plosive and your Bin would stink and you'd be the one cleaning it. Why should you deal with , literally, someone else's shit?!! Worse in a skip. Why are people so bloody thoughtless and selfish?

The one that was put in my just emptied wheelie bin stunk even though in a bag, that was the only reason I realised the thing was is there.
PLEASE, if you have the habit of doing this don't.
Oh, and another thing, someone put a McDonald's cup/straw in my garden waste bin.

Don't talk to me about dog poo after today's mishap.

I went for a walk earlier, lovely sunny day strolling to Aldi for a nose as you do.

You will note I didn't drive there so I couldn't buy too much crap from the centre aisles ha ha!.

Anyway, on the way back on one the little side streets I was behind this lady who was walking ahead of me. Next thing she went flying. I ran to help her and I went flying too! A huge smear of dog poo on the footpath, and all over us too OMG.

The lady was ok thankfully and got up and strolled away. I on the other hand whilst trying to save her bashed into a gate post and bashed my elbow wrist and pinky and ring fingers. I am black and blue, but as I can type OK I doubt anything is broken fingers crossed, but I am bloody sore now!

All because some asshole didn't pick up. But it looked like doggie diarrhoea to me. Had to change out of all my clothes and have a shower. THEN attend to my wounds.

These people are just so selfish. Bet they wouldn't let their baby shit on the footpath, but maybe they would.

Sorry for straying away from OP. But you probably need to get a little motion camera that feeds to your phone. Some people are very strange alright.

Which would you prefer? It left on the pavement or picked up and put in a bin? Do you lot really think you don't put anything unclean in your bins? Sanitary products? Nappies? Where I live, there is one bin by the shops but no others for miles, I'm not carrying a bag of poo for miles.

It's your dog ergo it's shit is yours. Carry it! I have one and I really don't see the problem with carrying a poo bag. What's carrying it for a bit longer going to hurt once you've already picked it up and carried it? Get a proper dog poo carrier if you're so precious.

We're living in a very lower class area atm and have seen it happen on a weekly basis in bins and a couple of times in skips. Never saw anyone do this ever before we moved here. It ain't mumsnet until some has brought up the c word. But on a serious note-this is very poor form. If you do this please learn some basic manners asap.

EggsonHeads · 29/01/2018 21:31

*for the record the sane goes for putting anything in other people's bins. It's not your bin so don't put your litter in it.

Someone throws their poo bags in my garden. There is a bridleway on the opposite side of the single track road to my house where people walk their dogs with a dog shit bin on the gate post but they take a couple of steps across the very narrow road to use my garden instead??!!

I'm not carrying a bag of poo for miles. Do you not care that someone else will have to smell your dogs shit or clean out their bin because you put YOUR dogs shit in it?

Deal with your dog shit. Don’t make it my issue
