So, just caught the last bit of This Morning and is it just me or have they become really smug lately? Their egos are through the roof and the way they try and find something really funny and burst out laughing is getting a bit tiresome. These hilarious innuendos or slip of the tongues are not set up at all by them or the production team boring. They can never top Fern Britton's 'see you don't mind dunking a bit of beef' gaff, much as they try.

I do prefer Eamonn and Ruth, much more humble and in touch with the viewers.

Am I the only one who feels like this? I am not Fern Britton by the way Grin

Nope you aren't the only one. And again the lame, yawn, yawn joke of rolling in late after celebrating their NTA win. I went off them a while ago. I used to like Phil.

I agree 1000000%. Smug and annoying.

Is this HolloWollobollobee?

Everyone seems to love her tho

I think its also because you see them everywhere that doesnt help. Every time I switch the telly on Schofield seems to be on something. They are very smug and seem very pleased with themselves, I agree, annoying!

Eamon and Ruth are so much better.
(Holly dresses very badly as well)

Nope! You're definitely not alone. Used to like them both, but lately they set my teeth on edge. I find them both smug and Hollie comes across as false.

I turn over when they're on. Smugness personified is not a good look.
The giggling is contrived. Holly crying is unprofessional.
Wish ruth and eamon could take over the whole show.

Because they are really annoying?

I never ever watch it and am only aware of them because of my occasional trawls of the DM site. That's more than enough Grin

Just unbearable this morning with their hangovers - seriously!!!

I’ve always kept quiet about my dislike to them as I thought I was the only one. They’re unbearably smug aren’t they. No one thinks they’re as funny as they do. On the odd occasion I’m home to watch them on tv I sit there doing this Hmm

I never watch this morning anymore. I find it unbearable now. I watch it with Ruth and Eamon.

I first went off Phil when he did that interview with Prince Phillip and said that he was basically the 'chosen one' to interview him and that no one had ever interviewed him before blah blah blah. But I think ole Titchmarsh beat him to it didn't he? He managed to make the programme all about him.

I was so glad when Eamonn beat him to an OBE Grin

And Holly, well I used to like her but, as someone said, she DOES come across as fake and shallow.

The fake hilarity is annoying.

Phil is such an attention seeker.

Love Eammon and Ruth too , a real cosy couple .

Prince Philip went up in my estimation during that interview because he looked at Philip Schofield like he was a fawning twat!

They like be themselves don’t they.

At the moment they work 4 days on This Morning and also work on that shit, ice skating programme. Do they ever see their spouses and children? They can’t need the money. Let someone else have a go!

The ‘joke’ they have about turning up drunk/hungover after the awards ceremony actually gives me the rage. I would get an instant dismissal if I turned up unable to do my job, they do far less intensive work than me and get paid massively more.

I find it utterly insulting

That should be “They love themselves”

Afreshcuppateaplease · 24/01/2018 13:52

Its definitley the smugness

Pair of patronising twats, can't stand them and Holly 'Wannabe in everything's' shriek/fake surprise/fake laugh is tedious.

Yes!! They think they are untouchable! Gino D’campo is equally annoying.

AllButterShortbread · 24/01/2018 13:55

The “hangover” shite is unbearable. Plus I’ve seen a few references on fb to the even more “hilarious” time that they came straight to This Morning from the party still wearing their red carpet gear. Yawn. And so many people actually think it’s true Hmm

Disclaimer - am poorly and don’t normally watch this kind of tripe.
