I don't know how to cope with this. She is 27.
On the one hand I'm so happy she feels so comfortable in her sexually. Like go on lovey.
On the other I really don't want to actually hear it.
How would you deal with this?
Help me Mumsnet.

Cheer when she’s finished?

Is this in your house?

I'm confused as to why any sensible mother would actually post this tbh. Are you expecting others to share their stories?

I did once shout out "For fucks sake can't you put a pillow over her face?"
It did no good.

just ignore and don't mention, she's having fun and if you say something could make her feel embarrassed. I know, trust me!

Send her a text saying "For god's sake keep it down. I can hear EVERYTHING."

Take them tea and toast when it's over 😂

So you're having a quiet evening in your house and you can hear her having sex in her house? Wow! That IS noisy sex.

Tell her to move out......

Bang on the door..

Shout. "No need to show off"

Knock on the door and ask if she'd ok ..it sounds like she needs help?

Turn music all the way up to block out the noise and hope she gets the hint

I've just knocked on the door & asked them to keep it down.

The next step is to start having noisy sex yourself....

Depends how close her house is to yours.

Speak to her and tell her it’s unacceptable.
People choose to make loud noise. It’s not involuntary. It’s bizarre she thinks you want to hear it.

Hide a cam in her room and bung her on porn hub

No I don't want shared stories.
I'm honestly at a loss as to how to adress the issue.
She is saving to get her own place. We live in London and it's really hard to get a place of your own. She doesn't want to be living at Mums tbf.

Have noisy sex yourself at the same time?

Report
OverTheParapet · 21/01/2018 22:19

Stick a note under the door

"We know what you're doing...could you keep it down?"

I'd be so mortified Id never do it at my mums again!
