Wtf is this programme? It's so awkward and ridiculous even my baby looks confused. I googled the presenters and they seem to be children's tv royalty yet they are so cringey together! There's no real AIBU except AIBU to physically cringe each time it comes on?!

Aah I don’t mind Show Me Show Me.
DS1 and I went to see Chris and Pui at our local theatre and a good time was had by all.

I’d rather watch that than some of the appalling animations.

I love show me show me. The octopus song is a favourite of mine.grin

I find my fists clenching whenever those two fuckers are on.

Mouikey Mon 15-Jan-18 15:19:11

ITS my least favourite CBeebies show! I find the presenters odd and a little bit too much! I also don’t like the characters (not like big ted and little ted of my childhood!!!)

greenjojocat Mon 15-Jan-18 15:19:24

It's growing on me as it keeps my twins entertained at 6am if they've decided to get up early!

greenjojocat Mon 15-Jan-18 15:20:11

Chris's smile never reaches his eyes

yosoyapplecider Mon 15-Jan-18 15:21:11

I cannot stand it! I agree they are the most cringey presenters ever.
I don't let my little ones watch it.

MrTrebus Mon 15-Jan-18 15:22:11

@greenjojocat

I know it's so sad, he was doing children's tv when I was a child. Come on man move on!!

I love a bit of go jetters though!

DeleteOrDecay Mon 15-Jan-18 15:22:33

Chris and Pui are amazing. How dare you speak ill of them!

Macauley Mon 15-Jan-18 15:22:41

Chris has the secret to eternal youth. It doesn’t look like he’s aged at all.

MrTrebus Mon 15-Jan-18 15:23:28

Rumour started - Chris is a vampire

Milk milk milky milky moo

I love Show me Show me! We went to see them at the theatre too and they waited and had a photo and signed an autograph for every single person waiting, I thought they were lovely people.

MrTrebus Mon 15-Jan-18 15:24:16

Show us yours and we'll show you ours......cringe!

Winifredgoose10 Mon 15-Jan-18 15:25:18

My children loved show me show me. I think that type of programme with real people, though strange for adults, are really good for 1 and 2 year olds.

I completely agree. I would rather watch 6 hours of back to back peppa pig than 10 minutes of Show me Show me.

A friend of mine watched it with DD and said she thought they were just on drugs the whole time.

mnahmnah Mon 15-Jan-18 15:32:53

Give me them over Mr Tumble any day....

I have a soft spot for Show Me Show Me, it was back in the play house when ds was little and the toys songs were better, MoMo’s rainbow song was a bit nuts though.

I’ve tried getting dd to love it but it’s not the same anymore, she’ll watch it but isn’t bothered by it. I do love Chris and Pui though, they’re brilliant together.

crumbsinthecutlerydrawer Mon 15-Jan-18 15:33:59

And I remember Chris as The Anorak too back in the days of the broom cupboard.

Jimbobjovi Mon 15-Jan-18 15:36:39

Chris has the philosopher's stone, I heard

Littlefrogletx Mon 15-Jan-18 15:37:12

Pui was one of telly tubbies. I think was traumatised by that years ago.
I haven't had to watch cbeebies for years thank God.

iklboo Mon 15-Jan-18 15:43:37

Chris got Tony Hart to paint a portrait of him back in the day. It's in the attic of Higgledy House.

polaricecaps Mon 15-Jan-18 15:56:52

I don't really like it and I can't tolerate most CBeebies stuff, but appreciate that Chris and Pui have done very well and it's probably got 'learning objectives' I don't understand!

crumbs Oh goodness, the Anorak!
