Just asked OH what his favourite chocolate bar of all time is. His answer: Fry’s Turkish Delight.
I’m not sure I can date someone who ranks that higher than the likes of Dairy Milk, Boost or Galaxy!

Blackteadrinker77 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:31:03

I would question his decision making skills.

It tastes like bloody soap

inlectorecumbit Mon 18-Dec-17 19:33:03

Ohh sent him to me... my turkish delight soul mate grin.

On second thought no don't bother we would probably fight over the turkish delight in a box of chocolates.. they usually get left for me !!!

napmeistergeneral Mon 18-Dec-17 19:40:06

You're correct that it's rank.... But all the others you've mentioned are also a bit shit. So I'm torn as to whether you're bu or not....

Neverender Mon 18-Dec-17 19:40:51

YABU - they're soooo good!

Bringbeboback Mon 18-Dec-17 19:41:02

Haha which would be your favourite @naps?

RestingGrinchFace Mon 18-Dec-17 19:41:49

YABU, it's no worse than the others you have mentioned.

Gerbil17 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:41:59

LTB. Its not right to have that as a fave hmmgrin

Oysterbabe Mon 18-Dec-17 19:42:59

Yuk! What the hell is wrong with him?

missbattenburg Mon 18-Dec-17 19:43:08

Don't look back.

Bringbeboback Mon 18-Dec-17 19:43:37

I’ve changed my mind on what my favourite is. It’s got to be a Twirl. Could eat my way through a mountain of those

CherryChasingDotMuncher Mon 18-Dec-17 19:45:52

Run. Run for the hills.

I once nearly left DH when I asked him to bring me back a yummy treat from the shop. He brought back a dairy milk with Turkish delight as it was in the clearance bin. Wanker

Bringbeboback Mon 18-Dec-17 19:46:26

@cherry Outrageous behaviour! I’d have been absolutely livid!

Marmighty Mon 18-Dec-17 19:46:29

Haha, when I worked in a corner shop I always marvelled at the people who chose Frys Turkish delight. They were all, to a man, over 85.

Rowgtfc72 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:48:08

Love frys Turkish delight. I am 45 though. Absolutely detest Cadbury, it tastes funny.

Somerford Mon 18-Dec-17 19:48:54

I think both of you have some issues here. I am on board with not liking Turkish Delight, I think it tastes like someone has poured washing powder into a barrel of oil and then served it up in chocolate bar sized portions. You are sailing close to the wind yourself with your apparent love of all things Cadbury's however. I wonder if some time apart would be best for both of you so that you can each work on your individual problems. Best of luck to you.

Leeds2 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:49:14

Don't ever leave him to make a major decision by himself. He is clearly confuddled.

Bringbeboback Mon 18-Dec-17 19:50:12

What is with all the hate for Cadbury? I’m shocked! Cadbury whole nut is the food of the Gods!

Farontothemaddingcrowd Mon 18-Dec-17 19:50:17

Oh I love Turkish delight!

hungryhippo90 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:51:59

..... I now fancy a Turkish delight. To me it's a Christmas chocolate!

BornInSydneyy Mon 18-Dec-17 19:52:39

Oh god threads like these just make my toes curl.

stickytoffeevodka Mon 18-Dec-17 19:53:00

Cadbury is awful these days. It used to be good, but Kraft ruined it.

YABU for liking Cadbury's wink

user1499333856 Mon 18-Dec-17 19:53:17

Sorry. I love them.

36 going on 85.

BeeFarseer Mon 18-Dec-17 19:53:43

Frys Turkish Delight is amazing. I can only ever eat it when I'm alone, so nobody can judge me for nibbling and sucking all the chocolate off until I'm left with a semi-transparent quivering pink block of goop.

Bringbeboback Mon 18-Dec-17 19:54:50

@stickytoffee I will admit that Cadbury isn’t as good as it once was. Creme Eggs have gone down hill! I’d still quite happily be fed Twirls and Whole Nut intravenously 24/7 though
