Did you serve it on the dustpan, with the brush for the fork?

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 09:47

would that absolve me?

It depends-were you wearing too small flea market brogues and striking your moustache while eating?

Fauxtatoes · 14/12/2017 09:51

Is your kitchen table reclaimed?!

JessiCake · 14/12/2017 09:53

OP there is no hope left for you

On another note, am creepily fascinated by seaweed sourdough you mention. Does it look vaguely green all over or does it have little green bits in? And does it taste of seaweed or just a bit mineral-y?

Please advise

HuskyMcClusky · 14/12/2017 09:55

I bet you’re not a homeowner, and it’s all your own fault.

Dozer · 14/12/2017 09:55

Yes, what is seaweed sourdough?

Don’t think it’s hippyish: sounds expensive!

2 avocados are £1.90 in my local sainsburys.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 09:56

I don't have a moustache. I am wearing leggings, skirt, cardigan, top. My kitchen table is wooden and covered in sharpy marks and glitter.

am I going to be ok?

Seaweed sourdough has little green bits in it, but they don't look that green. It looks more like olive bread really. and also taste a bit like it.

Sorry, I read hipster as hippy!

Grin

Have no idea what hippies might eat for breakfast: flaxseed on porridge perhaps?

mummmy2017 · 14/12/2017 09:56

Have you been entertaining and your using up left overs

BarbarianMum · 14/12/2017 09:56

Not a hippy Dozer, a hipster. Superficially hippy like but cleaner and with far more disposable income.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 09:57

I am a home owner, and the seaweed sourdough was in the reduced section.

I feel like I'm fighting for breath.

Dozer · 14/12/2017 09:57

sounds like a delicious meal.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 09:58

yeah it was Dozer, might have it again tomorrow! :-)

Chilli sauce and rock salt are pretty normal things to have kicking around, so are eggs and avocado!

The bread sounds like it was a special effort though. Sounds yummy! I don't get all this stuff about how avocado is a hipster thing. It's a nice vegetable (fruit??) people have been eating for thousands of years. Are Mexicans all hipsters?

JessiCake · 14/12/2017 09:58

Hmm I think the presence of glitter may disqualify you from hipster-dom. You MIGHT be all right.

Just avoid drinking craft beer and wearing any form of cap for the next few weeks and you should be fine.

Bubblebubblepop · 14/12/2017 09:59

No you're not a hipster.. you're about 4 years too late for that.

HuskyMcClusky · 14/12/2017 09:59

You’re doing alright Wink. They’re 2 for $5 here, and they’re actually in season.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 09:59

it was PINK rock salt though

and my husband drinks craft beer and wears a cap

Ah, then sorry, you are a lost cause.

At least you get to eat nice breakfasts though.

hooochycoo · 14/12/2017 10:00

oh shite bubble, than I'm a late adopter.

the shame.

Do you commute on a penny farthing while wearing tweed? If not I think you'll be ok. I'm a bit of a scumbag and even I have avocado, pink rock salt in the house. (I do not have the bread though, that sounds amazing!)
Just enjoy, avoid tweed and penny farthings, any kind of crisp sandwich eaten ironically and selling bowls of obscure cereal for a fiver a pop and you'll be grand.

Blackteadrinker77 · 14/12/2017 10:02

Did you wash it down with a kale smoothie?

Do you have chia seeds or spirulina in your cupboards?

LemonShark · 14/12/2017 10:03

Does pink rock salt actually taste any different to regular? I'm sure I recall seeing a tv segment where they did a blind taste test and it was indistinguishable 🤔

Yes true about the cost of avocados. I know there are plenty of people who can't afford them, but in a culture where a lot of people regularly pay £3-4 for a coffee from costa and Starbucks I don't think it's the price of avocados that makes people think they're hipster...
