I wouldn't.

I would unless he seemed unwell in himself.

I would but I swim all through the winter anyway no matter how i feel.

I wouldn't. It's not safe especially if he's not 100% feeling well.

I would

Dd 10 has a cold. She's not going swimming but is going to school

Scabbersley Tue 05-Dec-17 11:52:05

I would if its not too bad. The steamy atmosphere might help. Does he want to go?

GreatDuckCookery Tue 05-Dec-17 11:53:40

Is he ok otherwise?

Bit of a cough but otherwise functioning normally - yes.

Chesty cough, temperature or complaining of feeling unwell - no.

I would unless they had asthma, or a cold / fever too.

Mixed views, thank you. He wants to go but I’m a bit worried.

I would (and did on Sunday) most kids seem to have some sort of cough or sniffle just now.
If they seem fine enough and are well enough for school then they are well enough for swimming

If he wants to go I would let him go.
