I seem to be caught in a cycle of ones that are utter shite!
All I want it to do:
-Take the temperature quickly without me having to take any of DC's clothes off.
- Display that temperature on an illuminated screen that I can read at night without having to turn on any lights.
- Keep that display showing for more than a nanosecond so that I can work out if DS is just a bit warm or whether I need to give him some calpol.
The latest one I have been using has attracted my ire by suddenly deciding to switch to displaying in Fahrenheit rather than Celsius. No doubt either DS or I have pressed its buttons in a particular way to cause it to do so but I have zero inclination to find and read the instruction book at 3.30am to work out how to switch it back. I don't work in F so therefore have no idea if 100.4 is a little or a lot over normal temp. Stupid fucking machine!
