Help settle a debate.

Best British accent for me is northern Welsh. especially in men but I'm also a sucker for Geordie and a nice light brummie.

What's Benedict Cumberbatch? I like his accent.

I'm calling it early - I think Geordie is going to win the day

Though of course there is a wide range of Scottish accents. I pretty much love them all.

Scouse on women. Very very very posh Queen's English for men.

Scouse accent. No other accent comes close. Welsh and Scottish are nice too, but nothing comes near the wonderful Scouse twang.

Another vote for Geordie here!! I don’t know anyone in real life who’s a Geordie and I can’t do the accent myself but I just bloody love it!

I have a Welsh friend. His accent is lovely, and he's adorable.

As an American, I can sort of hear the difference between accidents, but probably not the way you all can. The only accent I've heard that I didn't like was the woman who played Bill on Doctor Who.

Geordie because I'm Scottish and I like that they say aye and oot like I do.

Scottish, particularly Glaswegian. I also like a Geordie accent.

I've been told I speak 'posh' buy think I am London but pronounce everything. I love Scottish, Welsh, Liverpool and Manchester (although not sure if that is a separate accent or just a very clever turn of phrase)

That's simplifying it somewhat, I do like the accent as a whole but I do love that they talk a bit like me. There's nothing like "yupty" as a West of Scotland word to mean a whole phrase though.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners I am fluent in Glaswegian!

Adore the Georgie accent, and Liverpool accent but can't abide a Brummie accent.
