They are the best.

I order mine with extra tartar sauce and scoop it out with the fries. Yum!

Christ. I hope you ask for them fresh.

NamasteNiki I work at McDonalds and we don't hold Filet o' Fish; they're all cooked to order because they aren't ordered enough to be held.

That article is based entirely on a comment in a reddit post, and it's also USA based, so it's completely irrelevant.

What's that old saying... don't believe everything you read?

I don't like fish so it's no but if I ever had to ask for one I would have to say it like the man in 80s advert. 'a filet o fish for my wife'!

Having worked in various McDonald's that article is bullshit.

I love them. Read somewhere that it's the only McDonald's burger with a steamed bun

One for me too please. I don't really like burgers so the only thing I ever get at McDs is Filet o Fish, chicken nuggets, a sausage bagel for breakfast, or possibly a special that takes my fancy such as cheesy bites or different pie flavour.

They've always cooked them fresh in my experience and they've got quicker at it over the years. Going back a while, an order for a FoF used to illicit an eye roll and 'it'll be a couple of minutes, is that OK' from the server and the 'couple of minutes' would be close to 10, but it's fine now. I think I did once get one that had been kept warm (this was absolutely years ago) and it was all dried out and chewy.

No, just no.

McDonalds have no business serving Fish, they’re not a Fish and Chip shop.

Their fish stinks to high heaven too, I have to a certain picky DC a Fish Finger happy meal when we go there. The lingering smell in the car is enough to induce a headache.

Sorry for going on, but McDonalds and Fish, bleurgh!!

That article is rubbish. They're cooked to order.

I do wonder why people believe this rubbish... You can stand and look into the kitchen in most McDonald's (and they're cleaner than some 4* restaurants!)

I think they’re too small so not filling enough. I’m always a bit disappointed with one.
