Event is coming up at work they where going to make a leaflet for they asked me and I said I would do it. Poster got made a week ago I said I couldn’t print it at work as no colour just a black and white printer. We don’t have internet either so they would need a memeory stick to take it home and print. She asked me if I could print them at home on my printer instead. I can’t afford to print that many posters so said no. she then said she would bring in some colured ink to work to put in the printer. Now I’ve had a text in the work chat asking where the poster is and would I be able to come down on my day off and print it at home. I live close to work this was all said by another member of staff. I said I can make the poster but can’t print or send it to the event owner and she was happy about this at the time

Sounds like they have no forethought and are now hoping to get you to do the work because it's become urgent.

YANBU!

They are being unreasonable. Id tell them you print in black and white but they want it in colour then they need to provide you a colour printer ink and paper for you to be able to it.

Putting 'some ink' in your printer could ruin it. Don't use anything different from you already use in it. I speak from experience.

If they really want it in colour, then put it on a memory stick, take it to Staples and get it printed properly. Or print in B&W at work.

Is there a copy shop near your office? It might be simplest for someone to get it done there.

There isn’t and even there was it’s getting it off the computer we have no internet so can’t email. A memory stick is needed

You can take a memory stick into a copy shop. Have they made any inquiries amongst neighbouring businesses?
