I know these things get done all the time 🙈
Trying to lose weight yet again. I've a long way to go.
I'm sure I was a size 16 at 15st but that doesn't sound right? I'm 5ft 8/9 with a bug bust.
Doing small, realistic goals, in the hope it work!

I’m 5foot8, size 14 and 14 stone 12 at the moment depends a lot on your body shape. I’m always horrifically heavy for my size

Hoppinggreen Sun 19-Nov-17 18:51:03

I'm 5ft 4 and 14 stone, size 16

Weight is carried by everyone in different ways depending on your height/genetics/body type/how you dress etc - so I don’t think there’s a clear cut answer that fits everyone’s body types.

There’s a site called mybodygallery where real women post their full body pics with their weight/height/dress size etc, you can filter by stats and see what other women your weight look like. It’s quite nice to see what ‘real’ people look like rather than celebs.

I’m 5’5, 14 1/2 stone and a 16 but on the bigger side of a 16/smaller 18

I’m 5 ft 8.5 size 14 weigh 11.5. I’m a size 16 in some places/brands though and a 12 in others.

I'm 5 foot8, and I just about fit into a size 14 when I was 12 stone 10. I've put on a bit of weight and am 13 stone and definitely a size 16.

Extua Sun 19-Nov-17 19:08:42

I'm just over 5ft8 and I weigh 14st 7lbs. I'm a size 14/16 now.

I used to weigh 17st 7lbs which made me a size 18, sometimes a 20 to my shame.

I didn't start fitting into size 16 clothes consistently til about the 15 stone mark. The weight is still coming off and can't bloody wait to wear a 12 again and then eventually a 10 again!

I'm 5ft 9'',huge boobs and now an 18 (but on diet) as a true 16 I've been between 13.5 -15 stone

Oldraver Sun 19-Nov-17 19:11:27

I'm 5'5", 11 stone 11llbs, size 16

Theromanempire Sun 19-Nov-17 19:12:14

I'm 5ft 8in and a size 16. I weigh 15 stone.

My ideal size is a size 12 which would be about 11.7-12 stone for me.

The variations on here are very interesting!

Badhairday1001 Sun 19-Nov-17 19:12:58

I'm 5ft 9 and 14 stone, I am a 14/16. I'm long in the body with narrow hips so I think I stretch the fat out a bit.

Sevendown Sun 19-Nov-17 19:23:30

Similar to others size 16 was when I was 15stz

treeofhearts Sun 19-Nov-17 19:38:59

I'm same height as you and 16 on top 16/18 on bottom. I have what used to be referred to as child bearing hips. grin I'm 15 stone.

frenchknitting Sun 19-Nov-17 19:40:53

I am always slightly surprised at these threads. I'm 5 foot 7.5 and was a 16 at less than 12 stone, definitely an 18 by 13 stone. I've never been less than a size 14, even at under 11 stone.

Courgetti2203 Sun 19-Nov-17 19:42:42

What an interesting post.

I'm 5ft 9 and weight 15st. I carry most of my weight on my thighs. I wear size 16 clothes and occasionally a 14.

LuxuryWoman2017 Sun 19-Nov-17 19:44:22

It is interesting, I'm 5'9 weight 12.5 stone and wear 14 bottoms and 16 tops.

treeofhearts Sun 19-Nov-17 19:48:41

I think people carry fat differently. I was a 14 at around 12 stone. My friend is actually lighter than me but looks bigger and wears a size 20 in tops where I wear a 16. I think it's because I carry most of my fat around my tummy hips and upper legs as well as just getting a big bigger all over when I gain. When she gains it just all goes on her waistline and upper body. She ends up a sort of apple shape while I am more pear shaped. I think it has a lot to do with where you carry the weight as well as how much you actually weigh.

FlakeBook Sun 19-Nov-17 19:49:30

5'8" and size 16 at 15 stone.

Just change shops. No standards for labels as women are all assumed to be stupid and to enjoy shopping, so it is all random.

sailorcherries Sun 19-Nov-17 19:58:41

I'm 5ft 6.5 and weigh 14st 3.5lbs (just weighed myself recently). I wear a size 14 or 16 but moving progressively in to more 14s. I weight train a lot and definitely do not look as though I weigh as much as I do, but still look bigger.
