I don't like the light on during sex. I struggle a little bit with intimacy anyway and I also have body confidence issues which are the main reasons, however my boyfriend prefers the light - or at least the tv light (who said romance is dead ) - on. He says he prefers to be able to see the person he's having sex with, otherwise there is no point.
Aibu to not want the light on and to think that it's actually more 'romantic' in the dark? Aibu to request lights off at least sometimes? The lights have been on but I'm not really enjoying it as much. It makes me feel a little self conscious.
I guess I know that I am a bit unreasonable to let body confidence issues get in the way of my sex life, but that's something I'm not really sure how to resolve.
