Just got a round-robin email thing from the Tories. Not sure how they know my email address, but anyway.

Apparently, the UK's set to leave the EU at 11pm on 29th March 2019. Bloody hell Shock Feels a bit surreal now they've put a date and time on it.

I read that the 11pm was Brussels time...which is ironic

Haha Rufus Grin wouldn't surprise me Grin some bright spark should write a play about the Brexit negotiations (a black comedy, natch) if it hasn't been done already!

Indeed. So our 1st day out of the EU is April Fool's Day.

Nothing for the satirists there...

I give in Grin

Apparently non-sleeping of a night means I confuse the number of days in a month. Mea culpa.

Is it bedtime? Grin

Bit ironic, since that date doesn't exist!

11pm at Westminster is midnight in Brussels etc. All the European government deadlines I've ever come across have been 11pm British time.

I heard this news, then got in the car where the MP3 player chose Europe: The Final Countdown. I got something in my eye Sad

There was always a fixed date and time on it. Don’t you remember just after Teresa Bloody May pressed the button some news channels were doing a countdown?

Bloody scary. Bring back spitting image.

Hopefully her commitment to write the leave date into law will go the way of the Ed Stone.

I've been setting budgets for beyond that date

This makes it seem more real. Very very depressed.

Its a Friday night, so we can have a great boozy party to celebrate.

There's been a date pretty much from the moment article 50 was triggered..
