AIBU?

It's a loo brush thread...

So my lovely mother has just bought a new house. She rang me today and said she was going out to buy a new toilet brush as the previous owners had taken theirs and "I left mine at the old house for the new owners". This made me laugh so much and I asked why. She said it's because it "matched the bathroom". She was horrified when I told her I didn't have one, "but how do you clean your toilet?" Apparently using rubber gloves and wiping it down is minging!

I can't stop laughing at the new couple moving into my parents house and saying "urgh they've left the loo brush!"

Loo brush heads are replaceable though. They can put on a new head without chucking out the matching stuff.

I do have loo brushes, but they come from the poundshop and wouldn't move either, other than to the bin. I buy new as soon as there is the slightest sign of, erm, wear.

The first thing my Dh bought when we moved into our new house was 2 new loo brushes. Seemingly as a gift for me, as I don't think he's ever actually cleaned the loo. He's so thoughtful. Grin

I hope the new house owners are MNers and are suitably horrified by their gift Wink

Hehe it made me chuckle! She also left all her toiletries in the shower but that was accidental... they are on friendly terms with their buyers so did send a message apologising for leaving a bar of soap, razor etc! They've moved two hours from where they used to live bless them so think moving day was quite stressful! She thought she had left her make up bag too but luckily found that Grin
