I have a couple of questions I coukdbt say in real life.

  1. those people in hotels that have breakfast and then check out - what do you do about tooth brushing?

  2. if you see someone eating a big breakfast do you think they are greedy? I'm self consious when eating a buffet breakfast alone and never know how much to eat.

  1. I brush my teeth before breakfast.

  1. I wouldn't think they are greedy no. For many people a full cooked breakfast is a rare occasion and I would assume that for them ( like me) it's a treat. But then I don't really care what other people think of my breakfast choices

Do you?

Can't help you with the first question, i have never worked out how people do that. However, the second question is entirely a matter for you, yourself, only. Anytime you eat, whatever you eat, is really not anyone's business but your own. Get in touch with that and make it your only guide.

Not easy, but very, very simple.

p.s. Sometimes, it can be easy to mistake thirst for hunger. Slake the thirst first, then think about food.

I worry about what people think of me. That's too big a worry to think about other people are doing. I assume they know what they are doing and it's only me that's not got a clue.

Do you never have breakfast out op? How it is any different to having breakfast, be using teeth and then having lunch? At some point you'll eat after brushing teeth

  • Skip brushing teeth. No biggie.
  • I would judge you if you didn't eat as much as you possibly could at the breakfast buffet:) so work away.

I guess because I have eggs for breakfast and they tend to linger. If I eat out I won't have eggs or will eat mint or go home to brush my teeth to get rid of the eggy taste

I would always go back to the room after breakfast before checking out even if only to collect my things.

Wouldn't worry at all what others were eating.

It actually pains me to think people worry about these things. OP, what on earth makes you 1. care so much what strangers think, 2. Be so rigid about teeth brushing?

those people in hotels that have breakfast and then check out - what do you do about tooth brushing?

The NHS says that you should brush your teeth before breakfast.

We always go for breakfast then go back to our room to collect bags, brush teeth, use the toilet etc.

No one cares what other people eat at breakfast.

Brush teeth first thing in the morning. Have breakfast. Chew gum after.
I only judge people that pile up plates and then they leave half of it to be thrown away.

Why can't you ask these questions in real life?

Brush teeth before breakfast, chew gum if necessary after.

Eat as much buffet breakfast as possible, skip lunch.

  1. Brush teeth when I get showered & dressed, before breakfast.

  1. Hotel breakfast is a special treat & would never dream of eating that every day. Also want my money's worth. Assume it's the same for others.

I like to have a little of a few things, so I’ll go up and get some yogurt and fruit, then go up again for something hot. I don’t mind if this makes me look greedy, and I really don’t notice what others are doing. Mind you, at breakfast time, Theresa May could be pegging Donald Trump on the next table and I probably wouldn’t notice.

Most people clean their teeth in the car

Brush teeth before breakfast. I read somewhere that brushing teeth shortly after eating is actually worse than not brushing as all you're doing is brushing the food sugars into your teeth. So it's better to brush before, or an hour or so after eating, and who's got time for the latter?!

We obviously move in very different circles, hully, because I don't know anyone that brushes their teeth in the car!

I have other questions, but they may be deleted...

I used to worry about what people thought of what I ate, now I couldn’t care less. I treated myself to a Wetherspoons breakfast not long ago and I had a full English AND pancakes and I gave no fucks. Even when the server asked me if I was waiting for someone else Grin

I brush when i get up.

With regards to breakfast buffets - personally i smell it, it makes me want it, i look at it all, i think god this is fantastic ... and then take a couple of slices of toast. As much as i want it I can't face much to eat in the morning.

Now i'm worried that people think i'm worrying about looking greedy!

I've done a lot of things in a car apart from drive but cleaning my teeth is not one of them.
