It's my one year olds birthday this weekend. Having about 30 people to our house which I am starting to regret. Not because of mess, that can be cleaned up. Just worried about having activities for the kids. Should be about 10 of them, ranging from 1-9. The babies will have plenty to do but am worried the older kids will be bored. Have a few indoor party ideas but not got tons of space. Was thinking of doing an assault course outside but it's predicted to be cold and my husband is being precious about his lawn (just recovered after building work)
Would it be rubbish to set up a home movie? Was going to get the lego batman movie as it's a superhero party. Was going to separate off the room from the adults and make it all cosy. Have mini bags of popcorn and treats. What would your reaction be if you were a parent? Is it super lazy? Or can anyone suggest indoor games. Going to do pass the parcel etc
TIA!

Such parties are for adults not children Id concentrate on the wine list

Sounds a great idea! My son is 9 and he'd be happy and so would I.

Parents will love it - children happily occupied so they can relax and have an actual real life conversation with another actual grown up. That's what a one year olds party is about! Parents celebrating they've made it this far!
