There are always lots of people who keep this offensive bollocks going when it has NOTHING what SO EVER to do with raising awareness or raising money and they never make any link to a charity. Please, please end this...and those who think it hilarious post fake pregnancy scans and those that encourage it with a " oh😂😂 you got me there hon" should be forced to do work experience in a fertility clinic until they are cured of their &£@y moronic ways...... Phew! , I feel much better for getting that off my chest.

It’s absolute garbage isn’t it...I’ve mostly stopped looking at FB. All the fake awareness posts, then the posts about if you’re not positive in my life, I’m dropping you type of thing ! , the change your profile picture to support something else devasting in the world , and post a heart of varying colours, depending which way the wind is blowing...

The ones that shock me the most are when someone has taken a picture of an innocent person minding their own business and added a story like they've been racist or homophobic.
There was one with an old man on a plane that kept doing the rounds.
I have unfollowed a few people who seem to love this sort of stuff, so we're still friends but I never see their posts.

I don't get much of this on my feed, probably because most people who do it have been unfriended! But YANBU; I hate it as well. I'm thinking more of the ones that say, "Now we'll see who my true friends are/actually reads my posts." Copying your status does not prove that I care about you, and if you're the kind of person who thinks it does, then I have to wonder about the strength of our friendship in the first place!

The vigilante type ones who want you to re post a picture of a person who has committed a crime or been racist/homophobic are so terrible, there was one where a teacher was accused of being disabilist to an autistic boy in a school production ( she wasn't at all) but it got reposted so many times the poor woman had death threats and hate from all over the world and only a few people got to read the true version of events, so damaging and such a sick thing to do to an innocent person, can't believe this shit is even legal ?

A few people on my friends list, years ago, shared pictures of two men who were allegedly James Bulger’s killers, as adults. I commented saying they are breaking the law so it’s in their interest to take it down and I got absolutely crucified for it by their friends. “Why are you protecting child killers?”

What do people think they’re actually gonna do if they see these folk on the street? Are they going to beat them up? Give them what for? No. If they even noticed them what they’ll probably do is put it on Facebook that they’ve seen them.

There was one about if you commit suicide this is what will happen to those closest to you and you think blah...blah...blah and it’s selfish! Erm no when I tried to kill myself I thought none of that and thought I was doing everyone a favour so it wasn’t about being selfish. I nearly exploded reading it but i’m Private about that period of my life so couldn’t even tell that person that their price of shite post was offensive on many levels.

I’ve also noticed that people who share stuff about animal abuse also share Britain First shite (swiftly unfriended). There’s definitely a correlation between publicising your animal loving tendencies and being a racist. I’m not on any way suggesting that abuse of animals is anything less than disgusting, but there is an irony in that the people on my feed eh share that stuff don’t give a shit about non-white human beings.
