AIBU?

To make DH tile the wall since he stuck sandwiches on them?

The kitchen has needed a complete refurb for years now. Anyway at weekend DH launches chocolate sandwiches at the walls so the bread stuck on impact. He left it over night and then next morning the marks from the chocolate won't come off. So ... nows as good a time as any to start the refurb right?

I'm sorry? Launched sandwiches?

Why?

I wouldn't let someone so immature anywhere near a DIY job.

It was asdas own Nutella. I have no idea why he did it. Showing off in front of his mate probably, I can't even be arsed to get into it with him.

Why would anyone above the age of 8 actually do that?

Why was he launching sandwiches at the walls? How did they stick to the wall, were they just pieces of chocolatey bread?

Why did he not remove them? Why are you allowing this man to do any DIY? Why is this acceptable behaviour at all? Hmm

Wasting Nutella.

Leave him. Pack a bag and leave now.

Can't offer any advice really...

He sounds like a bit of a knob!

(Though I'm sure he's not, but he made the mess, he can clean it up)

I am a little bemused that grown man would choose to throw sandwiches at a wall. I would not be living with such a person never mind planning a kitchen refurb with him.

Was his mate suitably impressed?
Also wtf is in chocolate spread that it leaves indelible marks on a wall? I would have thought it would just wipe off..?? Confused

love a t-rex thread, can this be a t-rex thread?
your dh sounds a bit immature for diy, it's true.

What a weird thread. Why would anyone, let alone a grown man "show off" by throwing sandwiches at the wall? Also, they can't have been sandwiches if they stuck. They must have been bread covered with chocolate spread. It's all too bizarre. It sounds like something unsupervised toddlers would do.

Maybe he was a bit drunk and thought it was real nutella, had a taste, realised it wasn't and threw a temper tantrum
