If you have to phone a repair man etc, how late in the day is it reasonable to phone them?
Any time if they do t want to come out they won’t.
That depends what you want fixing and when surely?
If not an emergency and not offering an emergency service, I'd say 6 girlfriend of repairman - we'd like our dinner in peace
Yes, was thinking not later than 6, it's a broken washing machine . Hoping to get it fixed tomorrow if poss. Just didn't want to think that other people would be ringing later in the evening and taking up all the slots.
I think now would be fine if you're making a firm offer of work.If you leave it until tomorrow he might assume he has the day off, and go to B&Q to buy paint for the spare bedroom.
