So I put a gold locket on eBay for sale. It cost me £125 when I bought it 2 years ago but i put it on sale on eBay for £40 as I’m really struggling financially. A buyer sent me an offer for £25 ( postage was free for them too) so I accepted as I’m struggling so much for money. She received the item and told me it was crushed during transit ( was perfect when I sent it) and she sent me pictures very angry saying she wanted to return it as it would cost too much money for her to repair although she is gutted because it’s a beautiful locket she said. So i accepted her return request and I had to pay her return postage so I’m already £5.00 and a broken locket down. So I wait a week and didn’t receive the item back so I message her asking her if she’s sent the item and she said no she’s waiting until the end of the month as she’s not printed the return label off and she wants to go and check how much it will cost to be repaired but she didnt say this before the return and am I being unreasonable to expect her to have returned it straight away? Money she paid has been on hold in pay pal. I had until the 25th October to accept her return but I didn’t hang about being awkward I did it same day immediately. And what if she decides to keep the item she got for a very low price I’ve lost out on postage twice and also the money has been on hold pending back to her so will i lose the money and the locket ?
