Males claiming they've been "raped" by females.

Trigger Warning. In response to the #metoo campaign I am seeing a few males come out and claim that they are feeling forgotten about, as they too have been raped, by women. It's not rape (in England and Wales), it's assault by sexual penetration. I wish people would start understanding this; it is totally minimising the effect of rape on women, and the fact that men commit these crimes in far greater number (as in, we are being told, "well women are rapists too, therefore why are you drawing attention to the fact that men commit these crimes). Yes, a small minority of sexual abuse is carried out by women. Their victims and both men and women. Yes, like women, it is hard for men to talk about. And yes, men can also rape men. Unlike women men don't have to live with the daily occurrence and threat of sexual harassment, unwanted sexual attention, and sexual assault. It's starting to feel like the campaign has shifted from #metooo to #womenrapetoo and it's completely diluted it's purpose. Anyone else out there is feeling bleh about it?
