Erm...well I found it funny anyway.

I'd probably make all those corrections in my head, but not be inclined to actually mark someone's sign like a piece of homework.

Oh that's a special case of pedantry right there grin. I bet that person is an absolute joy to live with (I'm genuinely wondering if it's my MiL).

Wish I could do that on social media posts! Just do it in my head instead.

I pointed out a misplaced apostrophe on someone's poster once. I felt like a right twat but she asked for it because she had shared a poster she'd made for a local gastro pub, using photos she'd taken and asked for feedback. I pointed out that Tuesdays and Wednesdays are plurals so don't need apostrophes and that if it was a poster advertising a business it really should be correct, especially as she was charging that business for her time and effort in making the poster. My comment was deleted.

One of my teachers at uni actively encouraged us to carry sharpies round for such things grin he corrected signs all over the city and signed them off...

A teacher (or a proofreader) would have a red pen at the ready! It could have been me (but wasn't). DS and I once took a red marker to correct a road sign.

Always correct poor spelling and grammar. It is how people learn. Innit.
