I bloody hope we can stop Brexit in its tracks. It's just so so shit that none of the other countries in the EU are taking us seriously anymore. And that the people in government who are trying to drive Brexit through will all be absolutely fine and dandy if we end up with no deal. It's such a fuck up.

Oh totally. Problem is no-one can really define what they meant by Brexit when they wanted it, campaigned for it and voted for it.

17 million leavers. 17 million different versions of leave.

And the fact that people think no deal is better than a bad deal dont have a clue.

They are equating no deal with the status quo but out. Not realising a deal is needed for simple things really. Like keeping flights going or medical equipment stocked with isotopes or even stopping Kent become a permanent lorry park.

I was angry at the result. I am angrier at the cack handed attempts to implement the result.

It's awful. I actually think they should've made David Cameron and finish what he started. Just to keep a sense of continuity, rather than bringing in TM as a new Prime Minister.

It fucks me off that Brexit is giving the politicians and government less time and opportunity to focus on other really important issues. In the grand scheme of things, we would've been SO much better off staying in the EU now we might not even be able to work abroad. I mean wtf???

My argument against leaving was always ‘it’ll be a monumental waste of time and money’ - which it has been so far, and will continue to be.

I am hoping against hope that it doesn’t happen.

There needs to be decsiions made and for Brexit to be pushed through decisively. This " it's going to take two years" is unbelievable. The plaster needs ripping off rather than pulling each hair out slowly and individually.

The EU is not a plaster and the UK is not some gaping wound so your metaphor doesn’t work.

In that case then, the skip full of tangled yarn needs to have the kittens removed so more people can get in to untangle faster. I may not agree with the result of the vote but I agree with democracy and Brexit has to happen - and the politicians need to stop messing about arguing about it and just get it done.

But one thing. The UK probably cannot cancel Brexit by itself. The European Parliament's position is that revoking the Article 50 notification would need the unanimous agreement of all the other EU members.
