To think Claudia needs to wear a lipstick ...

That's not the same colour as the rest of her face ?
And lay off the eyeliner ?

She is soooo pretty but her makeup is terrible

it's the 60s look, I quite like it, although the invisible lips look on me does not work (similar age to her) I need some definition.
I have a less extreme version of her.. liquid eyeliner, def nothing smudgy, worn all round or just underneath, and long fringe. but nude lips, no

TheQueenOfWands Sun 15-Oct-17 19:15:45

Winkleman?

Whenever I see her I always think she could do with a good scrub. Wash her face, clean off the makeup and brush her fringe to one side.

But then I expect her makeup is done for her. Maybe she pissed off the makeup artist?

Why does it matter?

AdalindSchade Sun 15-Oct-17 19:16:45

She's really beautiful under all the makeup but she wears far too much and the lipstick is pretty bad.

Tilapia Sun 15-Oct-17 19:17:15

It wouldn’t be my style but I think it suits her quirky personality.

Very sixties, but the other one looks rougher with the red circle round her mouth . Lucy Worsley does it too, it adds a decade to any face and looks a joke.

Callamia Sun 15-Oct-17 19:31:59

No. She's entirely perfect as she is.
(I super love her, she can do no wrong for me).

She knows it looks slightly ridiculous but she doesn't care and good for her.

Alittlepotofrosie Sun 15-Oct-17 19:33:35

Nobody needs to wear make up. It's her face she can do what she wants.

IHaveBrilloHair Sun 15-Oct-17 19:34:02

I love her dress but would have teamed it with chunky ankle boots.
She's gorgeous though, whatever she wears.

ILoveMillhousesDad Sun 15-Oct-17 19:34:31

I love Claudia.

The way she has her make-up is her 'thing' innit.

She is very self-deprecating about it.

WeShouldOpenABar Sun 15-Oct-17 19:37:02

She does what she wants, as she should

stopfuckingshoutingatme Sun 15-Oct-17 19:39:21

I love that old pic of her - such a beck back in the days grin

Luncharmstrong Sun 15-Oct-17 19:40:56

Yup , her face , 60s look, doesn't matter etc
But it's a terrible waste of a lovely face .

Undercoverbanana Sun 15-Oct-17 19:41:32

Good grief. I am no feminist, but are we really judging a woman by her make-up (or lack of it) in 2017?

Alittlepotofrosie Sun 15-Oct-17 19:42:20

"Waste of a lovely face"

I have no words.

hidinginthenightgarden Sun 15-Oct-17 19:42:52

What is with threads mocking CW this weekend? Leave the poor woman alone!

BarbaraOcumbungles Sun 15-Oct-17 19:44:16

Waste of a lovely face? What a fucking vile thing to say.

It's her face, she can do what she likes with it!

GherkinSnatch Sun 15-Oct-17 19:45:29

She's fine as she is.

NatMatCat Sun 15-Oct-17 19:47:26

She's quite open about knowing it's an odd look but she likes it. She likes being orange, fringe in eyes and all the rest. I couldn't say why but it's entirely up to her.

ewen1234 Sun 15-Oct-17 19:47:46

Its just her look...Some women grow old and never really change their style...Eg. Lorraine Chase has never changed her look. Jackie Collins before she died never looked any different, and many more are just the same. I think in 10 years time Claudia will just look the same. The only thing for me is that sometimes she looks as though she is struggling to see out of her fringe and I would love to reach into the TV and push it out of the way!!LOL!! XX

bridgetreilly Sun 15-Oct-17 19:48:44

It's her look and it suits her. I'm another who thinks she can do no wrong, tbh. I love her.

DagenhamRoundhouse Sun 15-Oct-17 19:49:22

You need very white teeth to get away with beige lipstick!

SuffolkBumkin Sun 15-Oct-17 19:50:35

Wow, I barely recognised her! Still very beautiful blond or brunette
