AIBU?

To need a bit of help with present ideas for unknown child from nursery

My dd has been invited to a birthday party of a child from nursery I don't know child or parent

I rsvpd on the day that we received the invite thanking for invite and confirming our attendance and asked if there is any gift list, present preferences, voucher type requests. This is normal in our friendship group and an amazon wish list is not unusual

Mum replied with oh don't worry about a gift too much just something girly will be nice

I know party mum doesn't want to appear Grabby/entitled but literally I couldn't pick this child out of a line up and my dd isn't really helpful as she's 3. The other thing is this child could be 3 or 4 so some suggestions would have been helpful to me

Can you lively mnetters help

Some ponies or a dolly?

I wouldn't stress about this.

I tend to get games or jigsaws from Orchard Toys - you can order them on Amazon. This jigsaw:
www.johnlewis.com/orchard-toys-dolls-house-jigsaw-puzzle/p607684?sku=232333106&s_kwcid=2dx92700019177413657&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIybjt3u7o1gIVKbHtCh2REgNNEAQYASABEgJl_PD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
has been popular, and is clearly reduced at the moment!

A nice purse/small bag? You can some pretty floral purses from Cath Kidston that I don't think cost much.

A jigsaw/game? A Disney princess jigsaw?

OP,

What's your budget? And how long until the party? (i.e. do you have to be sorted by Saturday?!).

Lego
Colouring pens
Shopkins or whatever equivalent is 'in'
A reading book
T shirt
Handbag
It's so easy at this age!!!! Try 11 year olds 😱

Something for her hair. Maybe one of those little bags with frozen on and hair bands and hairslides inside.

If your budget is between £10-£15 the Disney store have their dolls on offer atm for £10.

You can also get a styling head with your budget

Sainsburys 1/2 price toy sale starts next Wednesday get them something from that. Also don't stress it and drop your budget - I am mean, kids I don't know with parents I don't know...less that £10 - try to keep it at £5 tbh
