I feel guilty ish. Mild hangover from a superb night last night, a meal, many cocktails and then dancing, brilliant. Friends stayed so I was up late and then up early to make cups of tea and toast.
Dh is a wonderful man but he can't sit around doing nothing so he's sorted all the washing, made lunch, is mowing the lawn at the moment then going shopping for dinner and going to the tip.
Then he'll cook dinner.
Im in pyjamas with both dogs asleep on me and I think that is all I can be arsed with today. I think I've achieved enough.
Am I the laziest bitch on mumsnet today?

I'm still in yesterday's pjs (as is DC1) and DC2 is roaming around in knickers as we are toilet training.

We are getting a take away for dinner.

In my defence I'm pregnant and tired and DP has been out the house 6am-8pm the past week (I do work as well) so we all needed a rest day.

Nope Im joining you on the sofa with my dog as well. Very mild hangover after a great night in with friends last night. DP has made me coffee, fetched pepsi and tablets. He's walked the dog and is doing Aldi on his own and getting me Mcdonalds to help. Then offered to make me toad in the hole and rice pudding for dinner. He will also do the ironing. I do love my DP.

official - are you married to my husband?! He just walked past and I said "Are you jealous of me sitting doing nothing" . He isn't apparently! Ooh he's getting the shopping bags ready. He's a much better grown up than me.

Im like your DH, despite being up into the early hours having a netflix/gin binge, i was up early with DS and went straight into housework mode. DH stayed in bed until 11am this morning, despite snoring on the sofa at 10pm last night and was in bed half an hour later. The lazy arse has only just dragged himself into the shower.

I don't often have them. I'm struggling with stress and anxiety and am getting back in the swing of work after being signed off for a week so I'm learning to look after myself and my husband understands!!

Clearly YABVVU to be even thinking about moving when you're fulfilling the important function of multiple dog pillow.

Nope yanbu, if he's fine with it and I'm sure he's had lazy days too.

I'm still in bed! Had a crappy week for various reasons and was up late as dd works late shift on a sat night. So I'm lazying now but will have to shift later as got fwb coming tomorrow n bedroom a tip - not that he'd care Grin

Just seen last post - I also have multiple health issues inc mh absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of self care! Unnecessary guilt seems to be a common factor with depression/anxiety

so I'm learning to look after myself

Seriously, thats a very important thing to be doing. You know what they say in the airline safety briefing about oxygen masks - do your own first and only then help others? Thats a concept which all parents should bear in mind.

Yes my eldest two are adults and youngest at his dad's. If he was here I'd have done stuff with him but for me watching old episodes of friends and reading my book is my kinda stress relief today.

YANBU I slept until 2pm, I don't usually drink due a medical condition I have but had 2 glasses of wine last night and feel a bit worse for wear today. I only got up because DH has been looking after DD (2) all day today and she is refusing to get dressed so he's gone the shop while DD watches her 40th episode of Peppa Pig today

I'm in pajamas as well.I actually did achieve a lot yesterday and got my car/ house and travel insurance sorted out and today have steam cleaned the kitchen and bathroom so I don't feel guilty for doing nothing the rest of the day.

Apart from sorting dinner and the ironing, I’ve done fuck all today...apart from play angry birds...I’ve done an awful lot of that Blush

I'm also still in pyjamas. I've made a vat of chilli and done some washing, but am now lying on the couch watching junk telly while DP is doing the garden. I did bring him out a cup of tea earlier though.

I took DD to a class today. I had a pedicure and then went and ate potato wedges at a favourite cafe. That was enough for me and I have sat on the sofa or lain in bed the rest of the day. I do have suspected food poisoning and was in A and E on a drip on Friday because of dehydration.

I'm in bed watching Melissa Mccarthy films. My excuse is that I barfed yesterday and spent the night with a barfing DS so I'm containing the germs in my room.
