To think you can't truly unlearn learnt behaviours?

Has anybody managed to truly 'unlearn' a behaviour learnt as a result of a traumatic event?

I was bullied at school and even though I know that they were just immature kids and had no bearing on my worth, I still feel less than others.

I was in an emotionally abusive relationship over 5 years ago where he would withdraw his affection for the slightest thing, and if my lovely current DH is ever (even legitimately) unhappy (even if it's nothing to do with me) I panic that he will reject me.

My family mismanaged their money and fell into debt when I was young and now I am excessively concerned with stability and savings.

No matter how much I'm aware of these events and the behaviours they've led to, I can't seem to 'unlearn' them.

Well isnt that the basis of cognitive behavioural therapy? Learning new ways to process information and respond differently.
