Aibu to expect at least an acknowledgment?

What time did you send it? And who did you send it to? It's not U to expect an acknowledgment after 48 hours I suppose but I imagine much of teachers time is take up doing exactly that.

Isn't usual to have a three day response wait?

There would be no point in addressing this today, so they may contact you on Monday ,but personally I would phone.

Who did you send the email to?

Head teacher or office, I'd expect a reply quite quickly. Individual teachers can REALLY vary, and some only check their emails once a week or so.

I'd follow up on Monday at pick up time in person, but in a friendly "hi, just wondering if you'd had a chance to consider the email I sent in the middle of last week" kind-of a way.

Sent to reception as after querying they said they don’t give out teacher emails but would be able to send on.

This is a small single form entry primary.

DH is a secondary teacher - his email is public knowledge.

Keep - I can’t follow up on pick up as I’m not there.
