To ask if anyone remembers this TV programme

I used to watch it years ago with my sister, I'm talking maybe 15 years.

It had two teams and i think they had to solve a crime or something. But the bit i remember vividly was the loosing team would choose two people and put them in the most scary situation possible ( think middle of the woods, abandoned hospital) in the dark, in the middle of the night. And they would absolutely shit themselves, pretty much hyperventilating until something jumped out at them. Then one was off the show, the other went back.

Can anyone remember this, or the name. I want to find a clip to send to my sis but when i ask people noone knows what the hell I'm talking about!

Oh yes - Murder Game. My Xh and my DD used to love it - the ending used to terrify me !

It doesn't ring a bell with me but I'm very good at finding things online so I'll have a go! Any more info? Was it a series? Was it on before or after the watershed? Targeted at adults (sounds like it) rather than kids? Was it a long running series or did it flop after one season?

Yeah the ending was horrible. But also hilarious.

The Murder Game was the best programme ever made. I have never recovered from the fact that there was never another series

Yes the same poor guy kept getting sent to the woods/deserted underground hospital/other terrifying place.
I couldn't watch that bit. But they used to wander around asking villagers etc questios to solve the whodunnit, and then they voted for/against each other or soemthing like that.
I think there was a sort of Police detective guy in charge of it all.

Loved it - and The Mole that was brilliant too.
