McCann thread being deleted-double standards

I don't have anything but sympathy for the McCanns but there was some questionable parenting that went on and on aibu people frequently comment and judge other people's choices. If I asked aibu to go to the pub next door and leave my three young children at home I would get a lot of comments, none of which would lead the thread to be pulled 4 pages in, let alone after the couple of negative comments that I saw. Mumsnet have real double standards on this one.
