And to be a bit grumpy already about all the pointless chit chat and fuss and tat involved?

Might get lucky on the traffic front because surely it won't be Westminster Cathedral or St Paul's (divorced Catholic and royal protocol)?

Harrumph Sad

You're grumpy about pointless chit chat about a potential wedding that hasn't been announced - that you started a thread about.....

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 06:50

Yeah. It's pissing me off already.

Impressively grumpy, I think.

wowfudge · 26/09/2017 06:51

Well quite. They've got the money to pay for it and if they are happy, why would anyone begrudge it?

BigGreenOlives · 26/09/2017 06:51

It took me a while to realise what you meant by RW, I thought Referendum ???

juneybean · 26/09/2017 06:52

Who's a divorced Catholic?

OliviaStabler · 26/09/2017 06:52

They won't marry.

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 06:53

It's the enormous, disproportionate rumpus that's annoying.

If they plump for relatively low key and small scale at Windsor or something, I'll send them a nice card apologising for starting a MN thread about them.

Meghan Markle

ProverbialOuthouse · 26/09/2017 06:54

I agree it's so fucking boring. Why are people so obsessed with them??

The event Harry was at yesterday was completely overshadowed by the fact that his girlfriend was there too and that's all the press wanted to bang on about. Pathetic.

"Oh hot press!!! Young male human romantically linked to female human!!"

If there is a RW I'll be avoiding the TV for months.

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 06:54

You don't think so Olivia?

If they breed without benefit of matrimony, that would be FABULOUS. A proper dose of royal modernity Smile

@Olivia Stabler - who gave you a crystal ball and how do you know? Grin

Yes. I just wish they would. (Or wouldn't.) It bugs me when there are too many royals clogging up by guilty peaks at the tabloids.

OP posts:
Pannnn · 26/09/2017 06:57

So you start a fuss about the fuss that you so allegedly dispise? The behaviour of an attention seeking royalist.

FenceSitter01 · 26/09/2017 06:59

The general populace like Harry though, they want to see him happy. People also like a big party and feel good factor.

"Breed" really? Marina Ogilvy did the knocking up without wedlock thing. That's so 1990's. Shotgun wedding.

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 07:02

Say what Pannn?

A whinge on MN is the same kind of "fuss" as a public holiday and a multi-million pound public event that's tediously covered live on every media outlet, is it? 😄

That'll be an interesting day 🙂

I've already predicted (live on MN!) that George will never be King and nobody probed me wrong, so I'm quite comfy in my lazy semi-republicanism thanks Wink

But they rushed her up the aisle fence.

Watching a royal really break convention would be an interesting change.

FenceSitter01 · 26/09/2017 07:06

The child would be a bastard and not in the line of succession. So its not going to happen. Besides, she probably has some dignity and isn't stupid enough to get knocked up without a ring on her finger.

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 07:08

That's not a very nice word fence.

OP posts:
FenceSitter01 · 26/09/2017 07:09

Nonetheless , true and used in those circles.

Do you prefer illegitimate?

SerfTerf · 26/09/2017 07:11

I don't mind. Be as rude as you likeSmile Some people might, though.

I'm not sure Harry sees himself as being part of those "circles" does he? More a renegade therapy-fluent prince?

Iamtheresurrection · 26/09/2017 07:12

I don't think we will get a PH for Harry marrying. Reckon his wedding will be low key - by their standards - like Zara.

I agree with Iam, Harry's wedding will be more like Zara's.

Did you know that Harry's name is actually Henry?

ClashCityRocker · 26/09/2017 07:15

There better be a bank holiday.....my feelings on the matter will depend largely on that.

inniu · 26/09/2017 07:16

Royals have been "breeding" without wedlock since the start. Other than William the Conqueror very few of their illegimate made it to the line of succession.
