Aibu to be furious with my neighbours and friends?

I absolutely love Halloween and every year I go all out with decorations. My whole house is done up as a 'haunted house', I put on loads on themed snacks and drinks and have a big party for all my neighbours and friends. Every year they have complimented me on how brilliant the house is and say 'oh Frostiejacks, you should sell tickets for this'. So this year, I decided to do just that. I spent a fortune on extra decorations, lighting, costumes and makeup. DH has taken a week off work to be a full time actor (he's a vampire) and I have done the same to oversee it all. Last week I told all my friends/neighbours about it and they were really excited. Until I told them the tickets would be £25 a head. At first they laughed, but when I told them I was serious they got really shirty with me and said there was no way they'd be paying that just to come to my house. I am FUMING. I have spent so much money on the understanding there was a demand in the neighbourhood and feel really misled by them all. Aibu?
