Yes, that'd be foolish.

If you can afford it, why not?

Yes, and bloody stupid!

Yep. Totally fucking crazy. And I'm normally one to celebrate the pointless but pretty tat.

For a six year old... Get yourself down to Home Bargains Grin

I've absolutely no idea what a Yumbox is or why they're special, but if you think it's significantly better than her current lunchbox and you've got £25 to spare, I don't see why not.

Just looked it up and I cant see how it's better than any other compartment lunch box.

They are shite! Doesn't fit half of what you want and it's a pain to clean and put together - I used it for a week before asking my boss to buy something more practical

Just Googled, and yes. I bet those tiny compartments are a right shitter to scrub slimy banana out of.

Unless of course, you really hate yourself, and you want to make mornings even more difficult and miserable than they all ready are- then go for it.

Can't believe a 6 year old could care less. Surely they'd rather have frozen or whatever the current in thing is for 6 year olds.

If it'll last several years then it will probably be worth the money.
That is if your dd isn't as prone to losing things after 10 minutes as my ds is Sad

We have a yumbox! I LOVE it. It's made lunches more interesting and appealing for my children.

Do it. My DD has 2 yumboxes and has used them daily for 2 school years now. For the first year she wasn't allowed to eat until each teacher had seen it because they were amazed at what could go in it. It suits the way she eats and has saved me a fortune in uneaten school lunches (not free in wales). I fucking love them. And their customer service is excellent too.

She only takes one per day, btw. She just has an original and a panino and takes whichever suits what she's having that day best.

TittyGolightly · 17/08/2017 23:01

Ooh, and in the last few weeks of school she was making her own lunch.

What's a yum box?

Report
Mrscropley · 17/08/2017 23:02

Yabu unless Mr Ramsey himself comes and fills it every day included in the price.

Have a look on amazon for bento boxes, might not arrive in time for start of term but you can get lunch boxes like that much cheaper
