Please, please, please stop resurrecting zombie threads. This is a note to the user @Iazarus I have seen about 10 in the last 10 minutes and you're the culprit every time. People find it annoying and the people who posted on them will not be around to read your comments.
Cheers

Scrumptious I think the OP was objecting to resurrecting zombie threads not 1970's desserts! And the James Martin recipe with strawberries & white chocolate is the best!

ShatnersWig Wed 07-Feb-18 14:22:13

I just did a search for username @lazarus or just lazarus and nothing popped up???

MyKingdomForBrie Wed 07-Feb-18 14:23:55

scrumptious did you put a reminder in your phone to come and resurrect this precisely six months later?!

BarbaraofSevillle Wed 07-Feb-18 14:25:09

Ha ha. A zombie thread about zombie threads has been resurrected.

Was it deliberate? I blame Boo who must be Lazarus and
Scrumptioussafarisuppers confused.

BarbaraofSevillle Wed 07-Feb-18 14:25:40

No, she's jumped the gun a bit, she's 2 hours early grin.

CruCru Wed 07-Feb-18 14:26:06

To be fair, I have resurrected a couple of my old threads - ones where I'd asked for advice and then gave an update a few months later. I hope people don't mind that.

VaguelyAware Wed 07-Feb-18 14:27:44

grin

CruCru Wed 07-Feb-18 14:28:48

Oh, for heaven's sake, I've just realised about the dates. Sorry, am a bit tired.

ShatnersWig Wed 07-Feb-18 14:29:55

Tee hee. Sorry for helping make it sound real

Trashboat Wed 07-Feb-18 14:30:25

Sometimes the OP gets an berated if they dare to start a thread on something that has already been discussed in the last year, when someone says 'there has already been 20 threads on this'

I think some people are scared to start threads in case they get the eyeroll, so do a search and add to the thread, which it turns out is a zombie.

Aridane Wed 07-Feb-18 17:57:30

I’m going to add to this thread in a year or two

Aridane Wed 07-Feb-18 17:58:22

scrumptoius - wh do you,add cornflour and vinegar to the recipe?

Aridane Wed 07-Feb-18 17:58:52

(Sorry for typos)

OutsideContextProblem Wed 07-Feb-18 18:01:14

The cornflour and vinegar keep it chewy in the middle I think.

Aridane Wed 07-Feb-18 18:01:47

Ah, that’s interesting. Thanks

Mulberry72 Wed 07-Feb-18 18:06:37

Once it’s cooked turn the oven off and leave the meringue in the oven till the ovens gone cold. That’s what makes it gorgeous & chewy.

geekone Wed 07-Feb-18 18:06:37

scrumptoius I am really disappointed that you didn't do this on purpose lol

RainbowGlitterFairy Wed 07-Feb-18 18:08:06

I can't be the only one that got the Lazarus/resurrection link? Pretty sure the resurrecting zombie threads was deliberate.

Thishatisnotmine Wed 07-Feb-18 18:10:40

I love that someone has gained a pavlova tip from this!

PanPanPanPing Wed 07-Feb-18 18:22:07

As this is a most amusing zombie thread, I give you one of the funniest zombie threads www.mumsnet.com/Talk/general_advice_tips/752184-hauck-stroller-pound-25-Asda

Started in 2009 but with no answers at all, the OP finally replied to herself in 2012 grin
