Or something else?

Sorry if AIBU to ask Blush

Don't envy them I'm in my late 20s and knackered

ghostyslovesheets · 26/07/2017 22:28

erm me and (ex) DH when we had #3

Amaried · 26/07/2017 22:28

Normal these days

BikeRunSki · 26/07/2017 22:29

Nothing special really

YogiYoni · 26/07/2017 22:29

"Why are you asking?"

I really don't think it's that unusual

Dawnedlightly · 26/07/2017 22:29

If it's their first- how lovely!
If it's not- how lovely and I wonder if they'll find it easier this time round.

YoungGirlGrowingOld · 26/07/2017 22:29

Yawn?

Not unusual at all these days.

KatnissMellark · 26/07/2017 22:29

Fine. But they don't need my blessing anyway

Noodledoodledoo · 26/07/2017 22:29

Normal - know lots in that age range. Not perfectly matched but not far off us for our second.

NoSquirrels · 26/07/2017 22:30

My first thought is "Eh?"

My second thought was "Why would this be an issue?"

My third thought was "Perhaps I am misunderstanding the question, better read the thread."

Seriously - very normal nowadays, I'd say. Nothing remotely surprising to me in those ages.

BenFolly · 26/07/2017 22:30

And I'm asking because dh and I sort of want #3!

Dc 2 and 4.

Slightly older than average.

But not excessively old - no. Not at all.

They could even have a second baby actually, at 41 and 46.

ExplodedCloud · 26/07/2017 22:30

Normal

Haffdonga · 26/07/2017 22:30

A mother and a father.

What else is there to think? Confused

Groovee · 26/07/2017 22:30

Don't really care.

MadameJosephine · 26/07/2017 22:30

I wouldn't give it a second thought, not unusual at all

PickAChew · 26/07/2017 22:30

Hardly unusual.

MooseBeTimeForSummer · 26/07/2017 22:31

The other way round was my parents when I was born. Pretty old fashioned, neither could drive until Dad leaned when I was about 10.
Never allowed sleepovers, neither did much with me. It wasn't until I could get on a bus myself that I went to the cinema etc.

birdsdestiny · 26/07/2017 22:31

Honestly I had no idea what you were asking me.

wasonthelist · 26/07/2017 22:31

That was me and DP - our first and only, 9 years ago. It's been the best thing that ever happened to me.

Slightly older than normal but not weird or anything to raise an eyebrow about ... I wouldn't care

IlonaRN · 26/07/2017 22:32

We had our first when I was 41 and my partner was 45.
We are hoping to have another (I am now 43).

ThinkOfTheHorses · 26/07/2017 22:32

And DP parents were 41 when they had him and they've been able to provide a hell of a lot for him x
