Watching Mock The Week (a new one for once) casually and really Hugh is so attractive, much more so than say 10 years ago

Any other HD weirdos out there?!

Supersoaryflappypigeon Sun 09-Jul-17 22:02:56

Well, I rather like him grin

lostinabook Sun 09-Jul-17 22:04:48

I have joined various threads about him over the last 5 years but he just gets better with age

Notknownatthisaddress Sun 09-Jul-17 22:09:53

I don't fancy him at all, but I agree that he is attractive. smile

BigGreenOlives Sun 09-Jul-17 22:10:09

I'm pretty sure he's separated at the moment (not that I'm stalking him or anything).

lostinabook Sun 09-Jul-17 22:11:17

grin @biggreenolives

Mouikey Sun 09-Jul-17 22:12:21

I often see him on the train once a year going to an event, and he is rather handsome in the flesh!

BigGreenOlives Sun 09-Jul-17 22:14:20

I think he's that mix of intelligent & handsome which is damn attractive. Alexander Armstrong is similarly appealing, there are a few others. Maybe it's when people are good at things?

I have loved him since I was 13 watching The Mary Whitehouse Experience. I have found my people!

Have you seen him in Fleabag. Very funny and he has a beautifully written speech about how romance is unloading the dishwasher in one of the episodes that actually made me wibble a bit!

Yeah, dead sexy 😂

Oldbutstillgotit Sun 09-Jul-17 22:20:12

I feel the same about Martin Shaw . Loved him in Judge John Deed then saw him in London and was smitten .

SangriaInTheSun Sun 09-Jul-17 22:23:45

I adore him. I remember seeing him live for the first time in the Mary Whitehouse Experience a million years ago

Milky Milky grin

Walnutwhipaddict Sun 09-Jul-17 22:28:19

I quite like Christopher Eccleston (sorry to derail the thread blush). Anyone with me?

lostinabook Sun 09-Jul-17 22:29:26

I am currently doing a dirty cackle

lostinabook Sun 09-Jul-17 22:30:48

No to the Eccles Cake I am afraid Walnut! But I am happy for you to have him if I can keep Hugh?!

Crumbs1 Sun 09-Jul-17 22:32:26

He's a lovely man but his name isn't actually Hugh. His wife Kate is lovely too but sadly they are spending time apart.

childmaintenanceserviceinquiry Sun 09-Jul-17 22:35:13

I also like him. Definitely intelligence and handsome does it for me! I just hope he is lovely in reallife.

But Fleabag - I loved Fleabag - I dont remember him in that. I must have been laughing too hard!

HopeClearwater Sun 09-Jul-17 22:35:18

Ah but why? Has Hugh been playing away?

SmallestInTheClass Sun 09-Jul-17 22:36:30

Hands off Walnut he's mine.

ghostyslovesheets Sun 09-Jul-17 22:36:55

Fleabag - he was her bank manager - also on the 'men's workshop' weekend!

SoupDragon Sun 09-Jul-17 22:38:12

but his name isn't actually Hugh

It's his middle name.

Ilovelblue Sun 09-Jul-17 22:38:43

I loved Hugh Dennis in Outnumbered. I don't actually class him as handsome (sorry ladies!) but he has real charisma and there's something about him - intelligent, beautifully spoken and a certain je ne sais quoi!

He was great in Fleabag as was Ben Aldridge - I can seriously drool over him too.

I saw Martin Shaw once in a restaurant in Bath and having loved him in The Professionals all those years ago, I thought he looked a bit ropey. I was only 15 or so when I watched The Professionals however and am over 50 now.
