To used patterned writing paper

Is it ok for a woman in her 30's to use patterned note paper with animals/Cath kidston prints and other such things on?

Part of me says yes, the other part says 'grow up and buy white'

Help me decide.

I think it depends on who you're writing to - to an extent. (Although personally I'd be so chuffed to get a handwritten letter I wouldn't care if it was written on Basildon Bond in naice blue or a paper bag!)

It's the era of kitsch cake baking and print bags, of course you can use it.
And even if it wasn't, of course you can use it!
Stationery is fab in all shapes and sizes anyway, I love it.

For the record I do have plain (smythson thank you very much. I only bring it out to be petted) but sifting through it all made me think.

I really don't write enough letters either. Less whatsapp more Basildon bond (a blast from the past there!)

I feel quite sad as I can't think of anyone I could write a letter to. Do you have someone in mind (and what would one have to do to be eligible for your Smythson? Smile)

I use hello kitty and other kawaii type letter sets. I give no fucks.

I'm still using writing sets I had as a kid, to put notes to teachers etc. It's a little embarrassing writing notes on paper with cartoon mice, birds, cats or guinea pigs, but it's just what I've got to hand.

I've gone off anything with fluffy kittens on now though. Ever since that evil woman in Harry Potter, with pink lacey kitten plates around her office.

@dollypartonsbeard

A few friends still write. Usually with a text telling you there is a letter on the way 😂.Harry Potter has a lot to answer for.

I don't know what they'd have to do for that paper. No one has yet done such a deed.

@blubberball I love the idea of the notepaper going to school. I'm sure the teacher loves getting little pretty notes 😂
