Parked on double yellow. No parking For miles in inner city area despite paying for a parking permit to park outside own bloody house.

Phone them and ask?

You live somewhere your permit would ensure parking outside your own house? Goodness. I didn't know that existed. I thought you had to park in a permit zone.

Anyway. They come when they come. None of us can know.

8am around here because that is when the timed bays are making money restricted but might be anytime if causing an obstruction. Is it worth checking after 11 in case people have been out for the evening?

We've had tickets issued on our road at 3am. And damn straight they were blocking access for emergency vehicles.

DestinationSofa · 27/06/2017 22:56

I'm not blocking any access.
The permit area is one street.

Will keep an eye out for a bit but considering the weather doubt people will be moving.

I got a ticket for parking on a red line for 2 mins at 10pm. I would shift your car and park somewhere safe. You could get towed on a double yellow line at any time.

If you're in Edinburgh, they'll just lift your car onto the back of a lorry, and its off to the compound. Takes maybe 4mins.
Chances are they won't be out till 7am.

Depends where you are
