AIBU?

Is This Fair?

DD usually wakes up at around 6am each day, on weekends parents A and B have a lie in each until 9:30/10ish, A on Saturday B on Sunday.

Today, DD didn't wake up until 8:30 so both A and B in effect, had a lie in. However A woke up earlier than usual on a Saturday and couldn't get back to sleep so got up with B and DD.

B has suggested that A have a lie in Sunday instead of B since A's was interrupted this morning. B is going out with friends to an activity in the afternoon leaving A with DD so is happy to give up their lie in.

Is that fair or should A let B have the lie in and not take advantage?

A and B need to have a chat - this isn't for AIBU!

If you're this cross over one lie in, there is worse to follow

Is there a reason why this is a big issue?

What the problem? Bs offered A a chance to have a lie in, chances are A will wake up early anyway cos it's sods law innit Grin

If I read this correctly, B has generously offered to give up the lie - in and is happy to do so - so I don't understand what the issue is. Doubtless there'll be a future time when A can return the favour.

If B has suggested it and is happy for A to have the lie in, I don't see the issue?

Sorry, I suffer from PND and anxiety so I'm continuously over analysing simple situations and feel a lot of guilt for things. Sad

A should thank B for the gesture, make the most of the lie in tomorrow and then think no more about it.
