TTC and accused of stealing pregnant SIL's thunder

DH and I have decided we would like to start TTC and it just so happens that DH’s sister has finally managed to fall pregnant as a result of IVF, which she was waiting a many years for. SIL has announced that she thinks we are most inconsiderate and would be ‘stealing her thunder’ if I fell pregnant any time soon as she’s waited years for this moment. She said I am young so have plenty of time to try for a baby, not now whilst it’s her turn. (yes technically we could wait a bit - I’m 24 but DH is already 30 and for us now feels like the perfect time for us). Her DC would be the first baby in DH’s family and she’s said that if I’m pregnant too around the same time it would take the excitement and attention away from her pregnancy and her baby once it’s born. Honest opinions – are we being insensitive here and if you were in SIL’s position, would you honestly be annoyed? I know it’s been a long emotional road to pregnancy for her and she’s wanted this so desperately, but I don’t particularly feel our plans should go on hold. AIBU?
