• No we don't know the sex of our baby and we won't be finding out, part of this is to have a surprise and the other part is to prevent reinforcing gender norms (which is something we will be trying to prevent throughout our parenting journey due to its link to an increase sexual and domestic violence rates especially in teenagers).

I always find things like this hilarious. With my PFB I was a bit similar maybe not to that extent though. I knew I was having a boy but was convinced MY boy wouldn't be obsessed with cars and round things and snot etc. We would spend sunny days playing with tasteful, wooden, gender neutral toys . It's not worked out quite as I imagined .

Yes, my first boy was never ever ever going to have toy guns or any sort of weapons. He just made them out of Duplo as soon as he was able. By the time I got to the third boy we had a whole arsenal of weaponry in the house.
