Ummm..... NO! Hang on a minute! ... the unionist party only got 10 seats (1.5% of vote!) they were not on my ballot paper! I do not want them making decisions on my behalf! They would have been bottom of my list had I had a chance to vote for them! And really? ... their policies r anti abortion, and anti gay marriage, and there is some dodgy-ness around their views on climate control! I do NOT want them having any significant influence in government. What do u think??? AIBU??

The full name of the Conservative party is the Conservative and Unionist Party.

Also, few of the mainstream British parties run in NI and we're always governed by them, so...

The proper name of the Tories is The Conservative and Unionist Party - she wasn't referring to the DUP.
