(Already voted, not Labour).

The OP is illiterate. Worry not.

As long as people are out voting, that's all I'm bothered about! I won't be told who I can and can't vote for though.

Report
Branleuse · 08/06/2017 20:43

already voted for him :)

Report
AuntiePushpa · 08/06/2017 20:45

I'm really not illiterate.

The numbers are an invoice for $42,000+ which one couple received for their maternity services for having their baby born in hospital with good care in the States.

Thanks for bumping the thread all.

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING?

OP you may not be illiterate but you seem a bit naive.

Fair enough CheeseQueen the frustration is at so many eligible voters who know what they think and what kind of government they want but don't quite make it to the polling station. Understandable when there is little to set apart the main parties but that is not the case this time.

Loads of people don't make it to the polling station. Because they voted by post ages ago.

PizzaPower · 08/06/2017 20:49

Thank goodness for your post OP, you've just changed my mind on who to vote for.... NOT

Report
nina2b · 08/06/2017 20:49

Have voted but not Labour. NOR TORY.

Class size under 30- infants already are. A lot of juniors are. I've taught up to 39. It was fine. Hadly going to 'transform Britain' is it?
Ban the opening of new grammars- No thanks. I'd be happy to have them.
Abolish Tory NHS act- yea ok
Mental Health minister- good idea
Restore EMA- if 16-18 year olds want money they can get a job!!

I'm not going through the whole list as you see where this is going.

No party completely fits my view but I'm fairly sure a list on mumsnet is certainly not going to help me decide or change my mind!

So many shouty labour fans on mumsnet at the moment it's driving me mad.
Labour being rammed down our neck on mumsnet is like the press ramming the tories down our necks. Completely puts me off voting for them! Makes me wonder what is so wrong with their ideas and policies that they don't speak for themselves so to speak.

I confess I feel a bit like OP, but am consoling myself that at least there may be a better turnout than usual. That's summat, I s'pose.

Maybe if we gave out a few more hospital bills to non tax payers we wouldn't have people coming here to have multiple births at a cost of £500,000 and then saying, "I can't pay but it's only money"

Somebody posted something similar on my twitter timeline Sparklingbrook (also shouting) and it made me spit out my tea laughing, so I thought I'd post it here.

Also I do feel a bit caught up in the 'only minutes left to get out there and vote' vibe and it is going to make such a big difference to us all waking up on Friday morning. What is the future of this country going to look like?

i had a baby in the US, it cost similar - my insurance paid for all of it. I'm not quite sure what a US medical bill proves...
