To ask how anyone can justify the fact Theresa May categorically refused to say she thinks Brexit is a good idea

Seriously, the Prime Minister has basically just said she doesn't agree with Brexit but 'it's the will of the people' so she'll carry on regardless.

I thought she'd always made that very clear. She supported Remain and voted for it but is able to put that aside to deliver what the referendum result asked for. I get asked to do lots of things in my job I may not agree with in principle but, as a professional, I do it and do it well. She is saying she will do that as a politician

She was a well-known remainer. This was Cameron's doing, not hers and she's stuck with it now due to our democracy. I don't know what other answer she could've given really.

She was a remainer, but she recognises the country voted to leave and it’s her responsibility to ensure the referendum result is delivered.

I think she's the better choice for negotiating a good deal with Brussels.

Theresa May is the strong leader we need to guide us through Brexit. I voted remain, but the country as a whole voted leave and we, especially she, has to respect that.

She would be a shit leader if she said 'fuck it, I don't care what you voted I'm doing the opposite'. She can't just ignore the vote because it wasn't the result she wanted.

None of the leaders thought Brexit was a good idea.

None of them campaigned for it. (I believe they all campaigned against it though correct me if I'm wrong)

We all knew this last July when she was elected leader of the Tory party, so what's changed now? Everyone knows she campaigned (weakly) for Remain, so she's very sensible not to fake being a Leaver now. She's said she has 100% accepted the will of the people.

Conservatives offered us the vote for Brexit as their campaign. We voted them in. They upheld their end of the bargain and gave us the vote, we voted to leave. Now TM is seeing it through. Who'd of thought an MP keeping their word!! Nicola Sturgeon needs to take a lesson from TM and listen to the people.
