Who was being unreasonable?

Yesterday person A had a long day at work. They left at 0730 and arrived home at 2220. Person B had been home with person A and person B's toddler. Person A had a very busy and stressful day, hadn't been able to eat or drink for 10 hours or so.
Person A arrived home to find person B sitting on the sofa, washing up not done and stuff all over the side. They had insisted on waiting for person A to eat and had just put some salmon in the oven and made a salad. The salmon ended up undercooked and the salad had dirt on it after being washed. Person A points this out, person b starts aggressively washing the salad, throwing it about. Person A puts their head in their hands saying they can't cope with this shit. Person B starts shouting about what a difficult day they gave had with their toddler (person b works full time mon-fri 9-5), this culminates in a blazing row. Person A calls person B a horrible person and swears at them. Person B swears back and goes to sleep in another room.
Who was being unreasonable?

YouCantBeSadHoldingACupcake · 29/05/2017 12:44

Both.

BeachyKeen · 29/05/2017 12:44

Both?
kindness goes both ways

esiotrot2015 · 29/05/2017 12:45

Person B

But it's pretty obvious you're person A

Why not just say your peed off with your lazy partner while you're out working they do sod all

OutToGetYou · 29/05/2017 12:45

How do you aggressively wash salad? I suggest Person A and Person B both grow the fuck up.

Figaro2017 · 29/05/2017 12:45

Just another day in a busy household. Both are in the wrong and both need to just let it go, apologise and get on with life.

glenthebattleostrich · 29/05/2017 12:46

Both were tired, hungry and stressed.

However, person b should be capable of making some salmon and salad properly just as person a should be able to keep snacks in the car if this is a regular thing.

acquiescence · 29/05/2017 12:46

Depends what time the toddler went to bed. If person b had had an hour or two to clear up and make dinner then they were bu. If the toddler was still up then neither were.

KindleBueno · 29/05/2017 12:46

Both

LauraMoon · 29/05/2017 12:46

Both.

I never understand marriages like this. Sniping and point scoring etc. What is the fucking point? It sounds like you don't even like each other that much.

Ameliablue · 29/05/2017 12:47

Both

Ceto · 29/05/2017 12:47

Both. It's not B's fault that A hadn't eaten for so long, and presumably they didn't know about that anyway.

WeAreEternal · 29/05/2017 12:48

Why use the 'person A' 'person B' nonsense and not just say DP and Me.

It makes it confusing to read and it's still obvious which one is you.

You are both being UR by the way.

TheViceOfReason · 29/05/2017 12:48

Both - Person B is still working full time PLUS looking after a toddler (not the easiest). It's not like they are sat around on their arse all day!

Yes, in hindsight it might have been wiser to eat first and make something which require a few minutes in the microwave.

But Person A could have just eaten their salmon and kept quiet. And the putting head in hands was just an over reaction.

Both of you WBU.

BloodInMyCaffeineStream · 29/05/2017 12:49

aqui toddler was asleep at 1915.
glen person a gets public transport so person b can have the car

I like my salmon undercooked.

BloodInMyCaffeineStream · 29/05/2017 12:49

Toddler also had a 3 hour nap in the day

FatOldBag · 29/05/2017 12:50

Neither, they both tried their best all day but got tired and hangry. Try to be nice to each other.

BloodInMyCaffeineStream · 29/05/2017 12:50

purple translucent in the middle is fine. Not so much on the top.

Ok. Now bored of the A and B crap. It's life not algebra.

Neither. Both. They were both tired and frustrated and fed up.

gamerchick · 29/05/2017 12:51

Both of them.

There is no team work in this and a good dose of walk a mile in each other's shoes would help. Both are wrapped up in their own planets.

Start communicating properly!

UnicornSparkles1 · 29/05/2017 12:52

Both.

All day with a toddler is bloody stressful too. You should both be apologising.
