Just checked my BT telephone bill - which NEVER varies by more than £5 - and the total they are going to take is £238!! I'm thinking there's been some rogue telephone calls or something.....scroll down the bill and they've added a charge of £175 for BT Sport (which I don't even watch!) for August to April 2016. Yes 2016
What the actual fuck kind of drugs are these people on??
WIBU to throw all of my BT products in the road, drive over them several times and retreat to my home with no means of communicating to the outside world?!
Yes, I have rung BT and am now waiting for a callback while my heart rate attempts to return to normal. Angry

Whaaaat?? Shock

Good that you've rung them OP - i hope they refund you the money. That's crazy! Could it be that they've just made a silly mistake and charged you for things that another customer of their has been watching? I know that that's no excuse though.

They rang me back, but can't do anything until Tuesday now because of the Bank Holiday. Hmm

Twitter is your friend here, OP. Complain to @BTCare on Twitter, tell them how annoyed you are. They'll probably get back to you quite quickly. Most of BT's staff are in India so the bank holiday means fuck all. The Twitter team is in Northern Ireland.

We had huge trouble setting up with BT when we moved here a few years ago and only raising an official complaint got it sorted. But for all other issues we find the Twitter team is excellent.

How come you are only getting tge bill now? We got BT Sport when it first came out, we got it free as we had BT broadband. Now we have to pay £5 a month i think for BT Sport Europe.... surely if you had had it you would have paid monthly, not a one off bill Shock

Thanks Kiwi, I was tempted to have a rant on Twitter, but thought I'd give them until Tuesday to sort it.

Minions this is the $64,000 question. I always got it free with broadband. they charged me for the HD version for a few months ages ago but I stopped that once I realised. I don't even have an HD telly.
