He's being sentenced tomorrow hopefully. It was adjourned twice for lack of paperwork.

Thing is, whatever happens tomorrow, you're in a better place than him.

If he isn't sentenced yet - well, the cunt has still been convicted, and it just means he has to worry for longer what will happen. Whereas yes, you'll want to closure I expect - but you can still move forward. He's in limbo, not you.

And if the sentence is lighter than it should be? It's still a conviction, and a sentence. Again, you can move forward, he's the one that is going to have his life turned upside down again tomorrow.

I'm thinking of you. I'm in a slightly similar position as been through a trial and now defendant is appealing so although I was successful I still cannot move on with my life. With trials you spend so much time in limbo and loose so much control.

I hope he gets all he deserves ( and I believe prison isn't a nice place for rapists).

I also hope that you will find yourself again, learn to live and enjoy your life and refuse to be defined by the actions of another, incredibly evil person.

Give yourself time and space to recover and be so very, very proud that you have come this far.
