(or mine or the kids). WIBU to say the tiger has eaten it all and go down the road to a cafe?

MilkTwoSugarsThanks Thu 25-May-17 12:57:22

YABU. Get it delivered.

elQuintoConyo Thu 25-May-17 12:58:16

Has he drunk all the beer? Are you not near a Tesco?

BlahBlahBlahEtc Thu 25-May-17 13:00:23

hmm

DontFuckingSayIt Thu 25-May-17 13:01:11

YANBU, you must have sausages and chips and ice cream though.

ZeroFuchsGiven Thu 25-May-17 13:01:40

What?

GeorgiePeachie Thu 25-May-17 13:02:14

Definitely go out. The tiger was rude to eat your tea.

reenact his mammoth feast while you're out.

Etymology23 Thu 25-May-17 13:02:58

Did he drink all the water in the taps too?

DavidPuddy Thu 25-May-17 13:06:40

Shame that the children can't have their bath.

wiselyvanilla Thu 25-May-17 13:06:47

Well Daddy has his key , he can order something when he gets back.
Don't tell him about the beers straight away!grin

user1491572121 Thu 25-May-17 13:08:21

Tap sucking bastard he is.

The tiger. Not Daddy.

happyhebe Thu 25-May-17 13:09:47

don't worry OP, the tiger won't be back. What a bastard to come just before pay day though - tigers are so inconsiderate.

eelbecomingforyou Thu 25-May-17 13:10:52

Love that book. No, YANBU - go to a cafe and have sausages and chips, in your nightie.

splendide Thu 25-May-17 13:12:44

Daddy's supper I think you'll find! Not his tea!

IfYouGoDownToTheWoodsToday Thu 25-May-17 13:16:48

Well it's not 'The Tiger who came for supper' splendide, so I'm afraid you are wrong.

OP go out for tea.

Has the Tiger left yet?hmm

Sendmyloveaway Thu 25-May-17 13:17:15

Excuse me but I am very hungry.
Do you think I could have tea with you?

scampimom Thu 25-May-17 13:17:34

Ooh, not as bad as the time that pervert big cat came round ours. The tiger that came to teabag.

Sendmyloveaway Thu 25-May-17 13:19:04

Did the tiger drink all the milk, and all the orange juice, and all daddy's beer and all the water in the tap?

pottered Thu 25-May-17 13:19:51

find something your kids have done well, and make it a treat takeaway/meal out tea.

scarletmonkey Thu 25-May-17 13:20:00

Make sure when all this is sorted out, you buy a big tin of tiger food, in case he comes again...

Andthen Thu 25-May-17 13:24:01

But he never did (come back that is)

Love the book and we also went to see the stage show which was one of the best productions for children I have ever seen smile

splendide Thu 25-May-17 13:25:35

Well it's not 'The Tiger who came for supper' splendide, so I'm afraid you are wrong.

He comes to tea (which is happening while Daddy is at work) and then he eats all Daddy's supper (which is cooking on the stove ready for Daddy to come home).

ILoveDolly Thu 25-May-17 13:26:55

Never mind, Daddy seems to love going out to the cafe

ThreeForAPound Thu 25-May-17 13:27:09

YABU for calling him 'Daddy' unless he is your father.

TheWhiteRoseOfYork Thu 25-May-17 13:30:16

Oh Mummy, have you drunk away all the house keeping money again? Poor Daddy, he is aware of your alcohol abuse by tries to ignore it for an easy life. As the water has been cut off due to you buying gin instead of paying the bill, he will have to do something this time. Unless you invent a really good story to explain what has happened........
